My name is Hanna Hachula
My name is Hanna Hachula. I'm a fashion and portrait photographer based in Amsterdam, originally from Tychy, Poland.
Photography, for me, has always started with people. Since I was a kid, I was drawn to the quiet complexity of human faces, the stories that live just beneath the surface. That curiosity became an obsession, and the obsession became a career.
Largely self-taught, I developed my eye slowly and deliberately, through observation, through closeness, through caring about the person in front of my lens as much as the image itself. My time at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie deepened my visual language and pushed me to think more intentionally about what fashion photography can do when it goes beyond aesthetics.
The work I love most happens at the edge of fashion and portraiture, where a garment becomes a mood, where a model's gaze tells an entire story, where beauty and vulnerability coexist in a single frame.
